Video: Complicated PTSD

Complicated PTSD

Most trauma survivors who have a single incident trauma do not go on to develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or Complex PTSD. Many burn survivors have experienced trauma complicated by other issues which make recovery and reclaiming life after the burn injury more challenging.

This session explores how trauma symptoms present in burn survivors and what we can do to manage those. It is appropriate for survivors and caregivers dealing with post-trauma symptoms, full-blown PTSD, and Complex-PTSD.
